IP Scan – EU grants for SMEs for initial diagnostics of IP rights in the enterprise.
Since the beginning of April 2024, the IP Scan service has been launched in Poland, i.e. a preliminary IP diagnostics service. The IP Scan service allows entrepreneurs to identify their intellectual property resources and indicates how to use their potential. Many companies have intellectual capital that is subject to protection without realizing it. The service allows for the examination of this potential and also allows for the assessment of risks related to IP infringement.
The IP Scan report is prepared by intellectual property experts. The report contains information and recommendations on, among others, the protection of inventions, trademarks, industrial designs, trade secrets and IP rights licensing.
IP Scan in Poland is coordinated and implemented by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland in cooperation with the EUIPO.
Funding for SMEs in Poland amounts to 90% of net costs (maximum EUR 630).
IP Specialist Bartosz Szczepaniak has completed training and will receive a certificate authorizing him to provide the service, and will thus be entered on the list of IP Scan contractors.
