Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains the principles of processing personal data obtained by Bartosz Szczepaniak Law and Patent Office and your rights related to the processing of such data.
In accordance with Article 13 paragraphs 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), we inform you that:
- The administrator of your personal data is Bartosz Szczepaniak, conducting business activity under the name of Kancelaria Prawno-Patentowa, ul. Tatrzańska 19, 81-814 Sopot, NIP: 9570963378, e-mail address: biuro@szczepaniak-kpp.pl.
- The legal basis for the processing of your data is the performance of the legal services agreement concluded between you and the Administrator, for which the processing of your data is necessary.
- Your personal data are processed solely for purposes related to the execution of the contract, in order to properly perform the obligations towards you, and to take the necessary actions before concluding the contract.
- Providing personal data is not mandatory, but failure to provide it will make the conclusion and performance of the contract impossible or significantly more difficult.
- Your data will be stored no longer than necessary, i.e. for the period necessary to perform the contract and for the time necessary to establish, pursue or defend claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person.
- The Administrator may transfer your data to the following recipients: other lawyers who are required by law to maintain professional secrecy, the Administrator’s employees entrusted with the processing of personal data and who are liable for a breach of the processing rules, the insurer to the extent necessary to cover compulsory civil liability insurance, common courts and administrative courts, entities providing IT services to the Administrator, the Administrator will not transfer your data to recipients other than those indicated in the preceding sentence, and in the event of the need to transfer them to other recipients, you will be informed about this in due time. In addition, the data will be transferred to bodies to which the Administrator is required by mandatory legal provisions to transfer them.
- The Administrator does not intend to transfer your data to a third country or to international organisations.
- You have the right to request from the Administrator access to your data, its rectification, transfer and deletion, as well as the right to limit data processing, as well as the right to object.
- In connection with the processing of your personal data by the Administrator, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
- Based on your personal data, the Administrator will not make any automated decisions regarding you, including decisions resulting from profiling.
- Personal data provided by you using the electronic contact form will be processed, based on the consent expressed by the Client, solely for the purpose of responding to the submitted inquiry.
Cookies
The Administrator informs that when using the Service, short text information called “cookies” is saved in the User’s end device. “Cookies” files contain such IT data as: the IP address of the User, the name of the website from which they originate, the time of their storage on the User’s end device, the recording of parameters and statistics and a unique number. “Cookies” files are directed to the Service server via the web browser installed on the User’s end device.
Cookies are used on the Website for the following purposes:
- maintaining technical correctness and continuity of the session between the Service server and the User’s end device;
- optimizing the User’s use of the Service’s web pages and adjusting the way they are displayed on the User’s end device;
- ensuring the safe use of the Website;
- collecting statistics of visits to the Service pages to support the improvement of their structure and content;
- displaying advertising content on the User’s end device that is optimally tailored to their preferences.
